If you’re an Auto Delivery customer, you could be undercutting one of the best benefits of the service – preventing run-outs – simply by not keeping us informed about changes in the way you’ve living.
As you probably know, the timing of your heating oil deliveries is based on your previous use (allowing for adjustments based on the current weather). But if your lifestyle or circumstances at home change significantly, our estimates could be off, leaving you vulnerable to an unexpected run-out.
Some examples of these lifestyle changes include:
- A child leaving or coming back from college
- A relative or friend moving
- A long vacation that leaves the house empty
- An addition or renovation to your home
- A new, higher efficiency heating system installation
